Mission and Vision

Our Mission

To inspire and equip people to live as servant-leaders.

Our Vision
Communities of practising servant-leaders who create great places to work and great communities to live in.

Our Background
The Greenleaf Centre for Servant-Leadership (Asia) is one of four international centres associated with the Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership based in Indianapolis, USA. The other international centres are located in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Iceland.

The Greenleaf Centres are named after Robert K. Greenleaf (1904-1990), whose seminal work, an essay entitled The Servant as Leader, launched the modern servant leadership movement in 1970. The principles of servant leadership have been adopted by public, private, and non-profit organizations around the world. Several leading international companies, some of which are in Fortune magazine's Best Places to Work For in America, foster servant leadership in their organizations.

The Greenleaf Centre-Asia is a not-for-profit educational organization that seeks to encourage the understanding and practice of servant leadership.
